The first Peek at the 2022 racing season went off so well, I figured we need to do another one.
A big thanks to Cody Papke for some of the photos as well!

Andrew Jochim's 2022 IMCA Stock Car, a good looking machine. Jochim will pilot a Fury Chassis this summer. Thanks to the Jochim family for their sponsorship of RaceChaser too!

The Red Headed Rebel, Scott Bintz of Jamestown, will be seen at a lot of area tracks this summer, particularly during Rebel Midwest Mod Tour events. His familiar 1S has some blue coloring this year.

East Grand Forks veteran Joey Pederson's 2022 #7P late model. He had two wins in 2021 and is always a contender at River Cities.

Brady Gerdes of Villard has won multiple track championships at Viking Speedway and I-94 Sure Step Speedway and got his season off to a start at the King of America in March.

Battle Lake, Minn., veteran Jamie Norman's 12x Wissota Midwest Modified. He was fourth in the points at I-94 Sure Step Speedway in 2021.

West Fargo veteran Tim Thomas got his season underway in Kansas in March. He's raced in both IMCA and Wissota in his modified in recent years.

Warren, Minn., driver Weston Olson's #27 Minn-Kota Lightning Sprints. The Lightning Sprints will be at regulars at Buffalo River Race Park, and also have stops at River Cities Speedway, Red River Valley and Norman County Raceway this season.

Nome, N.D., veteran Kasey Ussatis and his #2U Wissota Street Stock. He was track runner-up at I-94 Sure Step last year.

It's going to be a busy summer for Detroit Lakes driver Tye Wilke. He will be racing the truck above in Wisconsin (he made his debut in it earlier this month), and then when in the area will race his INEX Legend car and IMCA Sprint (top photo) at Buffalo River Race Park and Red River Valley Speedway. Wilke has been a dominant force in the INEX Legends the past few years.

New colors -- and a sharp looking car -- this year for Barrett Short Tracker Jeff Hanson of Barrett. The #15H raced at I-94 and Viking last summer. Thankful for his RaceChaser sponsorship as well.

The 2021 season was quite a season for Lucas Rodin of Marion -- a Wissota national championship, a Wissota 100 title, winning the inaugural Rebel Midwest Mod Tour title -- and he started off strong in March by winning King of American in Humboldt.

Jamie Dietzler of Larimore won the Wissota Midwest Modified track championship at River Cities Speedway last year, edging Jory Berg for the title. This year, Dietzler will be piloting an SSR Chassis.

Moorhead driver Brody Carlsrud has a sharp looking IMCA Stock Car for 2022. He will be entering his second year in what is a highly competitive class at Red River Valley Speedway and Norman County Raceway.

We see Watertown, S.D., driver Jayson Good up this way at I-94 Sure Step Speedway from time to time and at some Advantage RV Tour stops locally. He also opened his season at Humboldt.

It's a new look for Morris, Minn., driver Corey Storck after years of having a black car. Storck is a top runner in western Minnesota.

Rothsay's Austin Veralrud will be back in the IMCA Modifieds this year after racing Wissota at I-94 in 2022. The IMCA Mods race at Red River Valley Speedway, Buffalo River Speedway and Norman County Raceway. His son, Layne, will be in his second year in a go-kart.
