The weekly racing is done in the RaceChaser area, and several drivers captured the first track championships of their careers. Several drivers won more than one title.
A few notes on that:
Aaron Blacklance of Thief River Falls won three track titles — the Wissota Midwest Modified championship at Norman County Raceway. He also won midwest modified and street stock titles at Greenbush Race Park.
Ryan Braseth of Ulen, pictured above, won three track titles — at Sheyenne, Norman County Raceway and Jamestown Speedway. Braseth has 11 wins this season.
Todd Gettel of Mahnomen and Will Miller of Sacred Heart ended up tied in the IMCA Hobby Stocks at Norman County Raceway. But according to IMCA points rules, the tiebreaker is feature wins — and Gettel had one at NCR and Miller none. Miller did win two features at Buffalo River Speedway, the first of his career.
Austin Pierce of Grand Forks repeated as NOSA Sprint champion at River Cities Speedway and won seven features in a row to end the season.
Scott Jacobson of Fargo and Ryan Satter of Dent each won two track titles this year.
Congrats to Dylan Steele for winning the Bomber championship at Jamestown Speedway and to Kyle Anderson of Jamestown for winning the Wissota Street Stock title.
Jonny Carter of Lisbon has won seven straight Wissota Street Stock championships at Sheyenne Speedway.
Lucas Rodin of Marion won the Wissota Midwest Modified title at Sheyenne Speedway and also won the Rebel Mid Mod Tour championship. Rodin is in a very tight battle for the Wissota Midwest Modified national title.
