Tyler Hall of Fertile is now on a two-night winning streak in the IMCA Modified. He picked up the win on Thursday night at the Norman County Raceway in Ada.
Hall also won at Red River Valley Speedway in West Fargo last Friday. He started second on the 13-car field on Thursday and got the feature win over Casey Arneson of Fargo, who started 10th but finished second. Dale Kraling of Mayville was third, Jesse Skalicky of Fargo fourth and Dylan Goplen of Fargo fifth.
Reise Stenberg of Argusville picked up the Wissota Midwest Modified win. Stenberg did not have a great week last weekend; he was leading the feature at NCR when his fan broke, and on Friday, got into the wall at I-94 Speedway which resulted an a multi-car pileup; his car was pretty tore up. So getting back into victory lane was a much better way to start of the week for Stenberg. His brother-in-law Matt Schow of McIntosh was second while Jeff Nelson of Perham was fourth.
Luke Johnson of Moorhead topped Andy Wagner of Ada to win the IMCA sport mod feature. Chris VanMil of Barnesville was third. Torey Fischer of West Fargo had a good run, finishing sixth after starting 13th. A nice 15-car field was on hand in the sport mods.
A good 10-car IMCA Stock Car field was on hand, with Aaron Olson of Mekinock, N.D., picking up the win. Todd Heinrich was second and Rob VanMil of Barnesville third.
The NLSA Lightning Sprints were on hand with 12 cars competing. Alex Truscinski of Greenbush topped Dexter Devergsten of Greenbush for the win. Kelsi Pederson of East Grand Forks was fourth.
Tim Shiek of Fargo won the IMCA Hobby Stock feature; unfortunately only four cars were in attendance.
A solid 63-car field was on hand at Norman County Raceway on Thursday. Next week the NOSA Sprints visit as part of the Norman County Fair.
